Governance model

StrataLabs follows a benevolent dictator for life (BDFL) governance model with advisory input from core maintainers and the community.

Major decisions — including architectural changes, new project proposals, and release timelines — are discussed openly in RFCs before being finalized.

The community elects representatives to the Community Advisory Board, which meets quarterly to review roadmap progress and community health.

All StrataLabs projects are released under the MIT License, unless otherwise noted in individual project repositories.

The MIT License is a permissive open-source license that allows you to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, provided that the copyright notice and permission notice are included in all copies or substantial portions of the software.
